I have uploaded two sets of lower case letters a to z to be printed onto card paper and laminate. A lovely addition to your Alphabet/Phonic station. Aimed at EYFS/Year 1, EFL/ESL students Children practise moulding dough on top of the letters with dough/ plasticine. Children practise writing inside the letters with different colour drywipe pens. Print out as many times as you like - children can draw pictures beginning with the name of the letters. Opportunity to use as a teaching resource showing children how to form lower case letters. This resource is a reading comprehension short story text mainly focusing on adverbs and adverbials used in the context of a story. There are comprehension questions on the text which includes identifying and sorting adverbial phrases and adverbs, describing fronted adverbials. It also includes: Searching for answers (Text-based evidence) Inference and interpreting Vocabulary work re: synonyms for verbs Sentence work re: amending a long sentence. Redraft story text - students use their own adverbs and adverbial phrases to modify the story thus creating their own version. This is resource is on the topic of Sikhism. It is an introductory booklet that aims to cover the key features of the Sikh religion including the the K’s. Ideal resource for revision/assessment. It contains a contents page, glossary of terms and texts with sub-headings and questions. The booklet can be ‘dipped’ into as a non-fiction resource depending on what you are teaching. **Topics covered: ** -Guru Nanak - Founder of Sikhism (First Guru) -Guru Gobind Singh - Founder of the Khalsa and the Five Ks (Tenth and last human Guru) -The Meaning of the Five Ks -What happens in a Gurdwara? -Guru Granth Sahib (Sikh holy book) -The Khalsa baptism (Amrit ceremony) -The Langar -Seva -Ik Onkar symbol -The Khanda symbol -The Nisham Sahib (Sikh flag) There are a mixture of direct questions, questions which require inference, multiple choice questions with tick box, labelling and ICT work (finding out more information).
