GCSE Sociology 9-1 Specification A Complete unit of lessons and 2 assessments aimed at the AQA Specification for the GCSE unit Families. This bundle would be suitable for other exam boards. This is the same unit, as a bundle already in my shop. I am putting it into one resource, so I can bundle the units together Lessons cover all key thinkers, have exam practice, model answers and differentiated tasks. This bundle also includes the knowledge organiser so is useful as a revision aid.

Lesson 10 on AQA 9-1 Specification Crime & Deviance This lesson looks at why there is a difference between the social classes and their involvement in crime. There is a 45 minute documentary link attached to one of the slides, that is not essential but a good alternative.

These are all my Crime & Deviance lessons bundled together. This covers all of the theory content. This bundle does not include the final 5 lessons that are looking at patterns and trends. I no longer teach this unit, so haven’t completed the unit, but I have had several requests to put the lessons into a bundle to make it cheaper for you. Please review if you purchase :) (I will get round to completing the bundle at some point!)

Students observe a clib from CBB and then attempt to write a report to highlight the difficulty with observations. Read resource and complete worksheet and then create their own observation. Aimed at the new 9-1 spec AQA, but suitable for any exam board by tweaking a couple of slides. Lesson looks at what to expect in the exam, how to tackle a 12 mark question, what is sociology, how is it different to psychology and journalism, and an activity to focus on the key concepts of culture, norms and values. The lesson aims to set Y10 students up ready for the GCSE.
