A fun activity that can be used as a starter or plenary over and over again. It is a page of words including rooms, prepositions, colours, adjectives, numbers, and months. Pupils race each other to skim and scan the sheet to find 3,5 or 8 of the words given. Suggestions for groups of words by topic and sound are given on a separate sheet. The coloours of the words do not mean anything in particular - they just help pupils to distinguish the individual words. Can be used on a whiteboard as a whole class activity where all play against each other, or in pairs. Pupils can write the words they find on mini-whiteboards, or tick off on the sheet. If doing this, it is a good idea to laminate to wipe off and use over and over.

Corrected 28-08-20 A French learning mat with demonstrative adjectives and pronouns (ce and celui etc including celui-ci), relative pronouns (qui, que, dont, lequel, ou) and possessive adjectives and pronouns (mon, ma, mes, le mien, la mienne etc). All forms are given and examples of how and when to use them all. A very clear and comprehensive reference sheet. This will be very useful for higher level GCSE candidates and A Level students who can manipulate language from a given sentence to express their own ideas. 2 slides are included - 1 complete and for reference and one for pupils to complete themselves.
