The lesson focus is on conduction but also teaches students how to take notes with the Cornell Notes system. Everything is ready to go. Students use the literature to make notes and then rewrite it using the connectives. I have found this an extremely effective way of teaching them to extract relevant information from text and rewriting it in their own words.

Everything you need for a lesson on insulation that incorporates work on calculating means and drawing conclusions. Students carry out an investigation on insulation material using different materials around beakers of hot water.
