This powerpoint was created by myself as an introduction to Beebots as part of a 4 lesson scheme for Year 1. Document included which has the lesson plans, plan of progression and an assessment criteria. I have used information from various wesbites to create this scheme. It has detailed lesson plans and explains the success criteria of the lesson. The First powerpoint recaps; the instructions on a beebot, algorithms, group roles, synchronised beebots and dancing beebots. Lesson 2 powerpoint was created by myself as part of a 4 lesson scheme for Year 1,- it recaps beebot instructions, algorithms, group roles, control iboard activity on TES.Children should use this powerpoint as a starter to drawing with their beebots on sugar paper. Lesson 3 powerpoint was created by myself as an final lesson as part of a 4 lesson scheme for Year 1. This lesson involves recapping the beebot instructions, algorithms, group roles, shows beebot trying to follow a route on a map, allows children to have a go at directing the beebots. Task is for children to write an algorithm for the beebot to follow. Ends with the alligator algorithm chant (not my work). Group roles work best if children work in groups of 3 and have stickers for each role throughout all lessons. (None of the media in the Powerpoint is owned by myself) Please comment :)

This resource is perfect for YR2 teachers, it is a set of activity cards which can be used in any KS1 classroom. The cards have the opportunity for children to make links between books (this could be; characters, settings, events in the story, author, writing style and more). The resource encourages children to be independent and chose their own links between the texts - it may be different to peers or the adults. FOR EXAMPLE: Gruffalo and Little Red Riding Hood link because: Both are set in the forest Both have scary hairy creatures in them Both include someone trying to play a trick/joke Both include a character walking through the woods - the list could go on… This activity is open ended and suitable for all learners, the link will always be correct as long as the children are able to explain and give suitable reasons. The books in these sheets are all KS1 suitable books and some which KS1 children will be familiar with. This includes an example card and a guidance for teacher cards. Rainbow Challenges is a type of Continuous provision to be used in Year 1 to support the transition from Reception. This resource includes a set of posters to explain how the Rainbow challenges works and an example week plan. Images are not mine (sourced from google images)

Observation drawing lesson PPT for KS1. The powerpoint looks at how important it is to look closely and draw detail to produce high quality drawings. Some examples and key tips are included. There is a link to a TWINKL resource which is linked in the powerpoint.

This powerpoint includes a range of mindfulness activities and a visual image which could be left on the IWB in the classroom. There is a simple explanation for each exercise and how to do it with the children. It can be adapted and changed to have more/less exercises. Ideal resource to promote mindfulness and support children’s wellbeing. It could be used once a day. I do not own the rights to the images used.

Year 3 and 4 spelling list Lesson for each set of words (alphabetically ordered) and example sentences for children to fill in the gaps. Total of 21 lessons. Perfect for short SPAG lessons, spellings lessons, spelling tests and independent tasks for children to complete. This can be shown on a smart board as ‘early morning work’. The powerpoint covers every word in the Year 3 4 spelling list.

Worksheet for Children in KS1. Teacher led activity where the teacher reads the statement and the children colour them in (red = no/disagree) (green=yes/agree). Then go through each statement as a class and have discussions about E- safety. Made for my Year 1 class who have prior knowledge of the E-Safety rules!

This is a simple place value board game where children are able to roll a dice, land on a number and then make this number using dienes blocks. First to the end is the winner. Dinosaur themed. Aimed at Year 1 class but numbers can be edited to suit any KS1 class.

A fantastic experiment to engage KS1 learners in Science. I planned this as one of the activities in Science week. This resource includes the templates, presentation with photos and videos as examples and a powerpoint which explains the whole lesson step by step and provides ideas for activities to complete.

This document was created to track a class and record assessment. Linked to the reading TAF, this will help to assess if children can read compound/2 syllable words. The table has a selection of 2 syllable and compound words and spaces for the children’s names or initials. (3 DOCUMENTS, 24 WORDS) It is a good way to spot gaps and words which the children are struggling with. Please leave reviews. Thanks

This resource is to be used in preparation for SATS in Year 2. The pack includes a range of cards which should be placed into boxes with the relevant equipment. The children will all have a ‘passport’ which they use to explore the activity stations and they can record some of their work. Once the children record the task and show an adult, they can get a sticker for their passport. This recaps ; maths, reading, SPAG, general vocabulary practice. I do not own the rights to the images used.

These were some resources I made to support a week of work on 'Tasty poems'. It was aimed at building vocabulary and using the senses to describe things. At the end of the week we made a 'I like...' food poem.

I used this activity with a Reception class. It got children to do an action for each time the ladybird moves. We then explored the tricky words and said them out loud. Then it teaches the letters J V and W and words with these phonemes in. Please comment and let me know how you find this - it is my first resource to upload! (I'm a trainee teacher)

A treasure hunt themed lesson, I had a treasure map pinned up onto the board as well as using the IWB to play the powerpoint. You would need to make worksheets with addition sums on them and have different ability groups who complete these. It is a fun themed lesson for addition up to 20. At the end we sung 'the big ship sails' song.

These stickers were created to put into children’s reading records. The teacher can write comments and notes about the child’s reading and parents/carers can see what areas the children have been working towards. They link to the working at expected standard for 2018/19 TAF statements. *USING 30 PER PAGE TEMPLATE **
