This bundle includes all the power points, handouts and assignments which I needed to gain ‘Outstanding Data’ recently at an OFDTED outstanding college. Having taught Level 2 BTEC Extended Diploma for three years I made mistakes like any. By the third year I feel I had my programme near perfect and this was reflected in my data. As an alternative to BTEC I decided that for the lesser able learner or those who progressed from Level 1 Sport the previous year would have the option of completing NCFE Level 2 – it worked brilliantly. Included; A&P Factors effecting participation in sport and exercise Introduction to healthy exercise and nutrition Lifestyle and the Sports Performer Participating in sport Planning and running a sports event Work Based learning (OFSTED Requirement)

AQA GCSE PE - Paper 2 - Powerpoints

(0)
14 Powerpoints that cover all of the content in paper 2 for AQA GCSE PE. Powerpoints have been created to be as interactive as possible, with a variety of tasks for students to complete throughout lessons, including starter, recap and plenary tasks. All of the key content from the AQA course is included in these powerpoints and all definitions have been checked in accordance to the AQA GCSE PE vocabulary. Each powerpoint starts and finishes with learning objectives and also a start and end of lesson checkpoint, where students can record their confidence out of 10 at the start and end of the lesson to show progress. Each powerpoint is also built to work alongside the student worksheets that are also on my page, the idea of these sheets is that they are used to consolidate key knowledge, students should also make notes/complete tasks as they go through the powerpoints in their books/folders, the sheets can then be used for revision. The powerpoints also include lots of current examples in sport, they also include recommendations of other sources of information that students can use to further their understanding, for example, useful sporting documentaties on Netflix. This package is ideal for anyone just starting out in teaching GCSE PE or for any teachers who do not already have resources to use at their schools. Files are numbered in correlation to the student worksheets also available.

Unit 2: Fitness training & programming for health, sport & well-being (LEVEL 3 BTEC SPORT)

(1)
Hello and thank you for reviewing my resources. Here is everything you will need to teach ‘Unit 2: Fitness training & programming for health, sport & well-being’ within the Perasons BTEC Sports Extended Diploma Level 3. My students have achieved merits and distinctions in their examination for this unit, after I have taught all content using these resources. I have planned this unit based on each question, so you will find 6 PowerPoint presentations, on each of the questions that are included in the examination. These are complemented with two work booklets, that should be printed off for students and they can complete as you are teaching the lessons. These booklets will be a great tool for students when they are revising for the exam. Each lesson will start off with a low-stakes quiz based on the previous lesson. The questions have been pre-planned and included in the work booklets for students to complete. This is a great teaching and learning technique to adopt prior to the exam, as all content will be reconsolidated and embedded within the long-term memory of students. Two student workbooklets, 6 powerpoints, Low stakes quizzes to prepare for the exam, Exam preperation questions, Plenary opportunity, Case-studies, Stretch and challenge opportunities for pupils to access the higher grades. EXAM QUESTIONS: Interpret the lifestyle factors and screening information. Provide lifestyle modification techniques. Provide and justify your nutritional guidance for to meet their specific requirements. Propose and justify different training methods that meet training needs. Design weeks 1, 3 and 6 of a 6-week fitness training programme. Justify the fitness training programme that you have designed. **
