Live Theatre Review for Hamilton Live Performance

(0)
This series of lessons partners with the live recording of Hamilton currently available on Disney+. There are 7 lessons in total aimed at students note taking on the key areas needed for the Live Theatre review at GCSE. This SoW has been used with Y9s-Y11s, all found it engaging in both the classroom and when used for remote learning. There are 7 lessons in total including a live review structuring lesson used to assist Y9s along with a peer feedback slide in line with the Eduqas mark scheme. There are also help sheets to reference characters by name, and resources to match the starter activities. I do not own any rights to the Disney+ recording of Hamilton and subscription to Disney+ is required for this SoW.

EDUQAS GCSE Drama Component 3 Complete Exam Breakdown

(0)
This lesson is a breakdown of the Component 3 Written Exam for the EDUQAS GCSE Drama course. The lesson breaks the exam down so that students understand the expectations of each section of the exam, the requirements of each of the Assessment Criteria covered in the exam and the knowledge and understanding that will be required from them to do well in the exam. The lesson also goes through the logistics of the exam, such as the time they students have in the exam to answer the questions, how many marks there are per question and the layout of the paper. The students are given a graphic organiser to help them take notes during the lesson and to revise from at the end of the lesson. This is a perfect starting point from which to begin working on the Component 3 Written Exam for the EDUQAS GCSE Drama course and something which you can then refer back to, turn into displays and use as a revision tool throughout the year.

Having studied, Orton’s Loot I found it extremely difficult to find online resources to assist with practical A02 analysis of the play to A level Standard. As a result, I created this ‘workbook’ for myself which is in fully completed condition. Inside is detailed analysis of each page of the play, that corresponds to a question, so that you could either just use my analysis, or add your own thoughts as well!
