Winter Art Project Moonlight Silhouettes
1.This book has 60 pages with templates with silhouettes and blank templates with background markings.
2.Let children use their creativity to experiment as much as they want.
3.You will be surprised to see their new ideas as they use different materials and styles to come up with their style of unique art work.
4.You may give a grey print out to the children so that they can color/paint the objects in black while saving on ink.
5.You may also give them black paper to let them make their own objects and cut and paste them.
6.Paper bits sticking etc. can also be done by smaller kids as a craft activity.

This is a sensory story I created for my topic 'seasons'. This was written for a PMLD/ CLDD class.
I have written it with the sentence, the sense, the sensory experience and what I and my TAs are looking for and observing throughout the sessions.
Repeat story throughout the term to enable the child to develop anticipation, investigation, awareness, preference and much more.
Could also be used in an EYFS KS1 class.
With the new G.C.S.E.’s being closed book, our students need to get to know the anthology well as they will not have reference to them in the exam.
To this end, I wanted to have some varied works-sheets that I could use for home works, independent study or starters in lessons. I also thought I could use them to give out every so often during the year to keep the poems fresh in students’ memory. You could, of course, use them, to supplement the initial teaching of the poems.
Ideas / suggestions / points:
Consider printing some pages on A3 to maximise writing area
Each sheet has a place for students name to be written
There is a blank biography sheet for you to add your own knowledge or direct students to research and fill in
Creative Writing pages cross over to the Language paper offering a ‘two birds with one stone’ approach for practice!
Some sheets include ‘Extension Tasks’ – these could be given as extras or to push on higher ability
This 16-page resource booklet contains a wide range of challenging and engaging comprehension activities for use throughout the reading of Owen Sheers’ love and relationships poem ‘Winter Swans.’ Teachers have found the activities particularly useful throughout teaching, or for exam revision or guided reading sessions. A beautiful 10-15 minute (17 slide) assembly on Winter, its holidays and natural events. It is a fun and engaging Winter assembly with thought provoking questions and is easily adaptable for tutor-time.

This is my version of a popular game - Dobble.
Dobble is a simple pattern recognition game in which players try to find an image shown on two cards.
Each card in Dobble features eight different symbols, with the symbols varying in size from one card to the next. Any two cards have exactly one symbol in common. For the basic Spot it! game, reveal one card, then another. Whoever spots the symbol in common on both cards claims the first card, then another card is revealed for players to search, and so on. Whoever has collected the most cards when the 55-card deck runs out wins!

A 25 minute Tutor Time session all about keeping well through the winter months. The aim of this session is to help enable Form Tutors to improve attendance by giving students practical advice on how to avoid colds and other bugs during the winter season. The session contains three challenge learning outcomes, slides of easy to digest information, a clip task with differentiated questions, a quiz and final reflection task. The session is editable and been created to be perfect to just pick up and use. The slides in the previews are just a sample and not the whole session.
