This resource consist of 4 A4 cards; a star, a happy face, a middle face and a sad face. This resource is most effective printed on traffic light coloured paper to match the faces and laminated, with the star on yellow or gold paper. If you print your classes names on coloured paper you can move them from one face to the next depending on behaviour. I start every day with the children on green and then move them up or down as appropriate.

Powerful Student Classroom Management program This student attitude improvement tool is very powerful as it can turn even the most difficult and stubborn student into a more conscious and reflective listener and learner. Youtube link https://youtu.be/myU95ZLCPEE Students receive instant feedback on aspects like, behaviour, attitude to learning, punctuality etc via a student score which is reflected instantly on the live league table. Students can achieve bonus scores by gaining a reward in the classroom but can also lose scores by doing something unwanted within the classroom. Students and teachers love this as it brings out the students competitive edge. The tool is designed to allow for houses to be assigned to your students which in turn allows for houses to compete against each other. You can also send reports home to parents at the touch of a button. A student’s position on the live league table is determined by how each student is preforming based on the 4 different criteria which you choose. Watch the video for a more in depth understanding of how this tool can transform your students performance in your class.

Classroom Behaviour Management System

This behaviour management system is cyclical. All children will start on the pirate ship and each time they do something good, for example sharing, being kind to friends, good piece of work, tidying up, etc. They move up one. If at the end of the day, they are on the swamp, they remain on the swamp and that is their starting point for the following day. At the end of each day, we see who has made it onto the treasure chest and those who are can choose a prize from our real treasure chest. This could be a bag or a shoebox. I usually put in party bag prizes such as yoyos, stickers, bouncy balls, etc. All the children who have landed on the treasure chest will then go back to the pirate ship for the next day. The treasure map is displayed at the front of the classroom so that children can track where they are at any point in the day. I use Velcro to stick the children’s names onto the display.
