Matching game : opposites adjectives. Can be played as a matching game, but also as a memory game.

Perfect full lesson game for end of unit or end of term fun. This game tests the column addition skills of the children by getting them to roll a dice and multiply either the attacking number, or the defense number, depending on whose turn it is. Multiplication crosses the tens, and can be up-leveled by adding 2 dice so that the children are multiplying 2-digit by 2-digit numbers. The aim of the game is for the children to see who can cross the pitch board game first. Each player has 15 Match Attax cards and different coloured football pieces. The children will take it in turns to be the ‘attacking’ player. They will roll the dice and multiply the number on the dice by the number for ‘attack’ on their player’s card. The opposite player will then roll their dice and multiply that number by the number for the ‘defense’ on their player’s card. The child with the highest score wins and gets to place their football onto the pitch. The children put their cards to the bottom of the pile and it’s now the other child’s turn to be the ‘attacker’. This is continued until one player has reached the opposition’s side of the pitch. Description: Each Jeopardy PowerPoint Game Slideshow can be played with 8 players or 8 teams. All games have one topic with 6 task categories; What’s in the Photo? This game can be played in two ways. Firstly it is a matching pairs game. All the red backed cards are for the questions and the blue backed cards are for the answers. Children take turns to turn over a red card and a blue card. They have to read each card out aloud. If they find a matching pair, (question with correct answer) they keep the cards. End of game, child with the most cards wins. Alternatively cards could be placed on a table, face side down in two piles. Child 1 takes a red backed card and asks their partner a question. If they answer it correctly they keep the card. Child 2 takes a blue backed card and reads an answer out to their partner. They have be able to say what the question would be. Again child keeps the card if they are able to do this. As before, the child with the most cards wins. A fun way to get the kids talking. There are 32 cards in total: 16 have the names of different sexualities printed on them and 16 have the different sexual identity flags printed on them. These are double sided cards once printed and have the LGBT flag on the opposite side. Print the cards double sided and cut out.
