You will get lesson plans for year 7, mixed group.
These are double lessons, so I would do these over a 6-week period.
There are reciprocal swimming cards.
Please forgive me if you find spelling mistakes, as I am really dyslexic.
Plus I do my lessons on an Applemac, so things tend to move around.

Swimming SOW for years 7, 8 & 9. A total of 19 lessons although, depending on ability and the practice-time needed by pupils, some lessons may be extended across 2 hours (including changing time). An excellent resource, with thorough planning, to be used as ‘tick box’ evidence for department SOW. These SOW include prior and horizon knowledge for each year group, to inform the teacher of previous and expected learning. Learning objectives and TIF challenge objectives, that can be used to stretch HA pupils, have been written for each lesson. Ideas of activities to support learning have also been included but, they do not specifically state the exact activities that should take place during a lesson, as these can be planned and designed by the leading teacher. Each lesson also has the following planned: powerful knowledge, robust vocabulary, key terms, key questions and potential misconceptions. Overall, a good resource to ensure learning and progression is achieved, among all levels of ability, across a term of swimming.
In this class your children will sing, play, move, make and of course learn about the different kinds of swimming strokes. A professionally packaged presentation that your class will love! Includes video, animations, interactive activities and instructions. Have fun!
Fills a 40 minute class.
This resources is for 4 individual lesson plans for teaching pupils to swim who are reaching the Swim England Stage 3 and 4. This is for pupils who are developing their early stroke work in Front Crawl, Backstroke and Breaststroke.
The lesson plans are clearly laid out with simple teaching points to instruct pupils throughout. Pupils are asked questions throughout to test their understanding in addition to developing their swimming skills.
Pupil leadership and coaching. All strokes - front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, butterfly, diving, tumble turns, games and training sessions. When you have pupils who are unable to swim, get them in a coaching role with these coaching cards! I printed mine, 2 slides per sheet of A4 and laminated mine and put them on a lanyard. Pupils can coach at the side with examples of teaching points and practises they can encourage peers to do to improve their stroke. This improves vital skills such as communication, observation, giving feedback, encouraging, giving praise, decision making, increases self confidence and pupils feel good that they have helped someone else improve! If you would like this resources made for you - printed/laminated/put on a lanyard, get in touch for details: angie_shearer@hotmail.com
I created a swimming certificate for pupils who passed their 25m front and back, inline with government expectations of Primary Swimming.
It is created in a cursive font.
This resource is a Unit of Work. It includes the modules aims and 5 weeks of sessions plans linked to these module aims.

A useful resource card with some great games to engage and build confidence in the swimming pool.
* I do not own the rights to this flashcard. Just a very useful resource for any swimming lessons.

This is a swimming unit of work. It includes a whole school swimming plan / overview and then focuses on beginners / non swimmers. From here it then includes a unit of work summary along with eight easy to follow lesson plans and an assessment sheet to monitor progress in relation to the national curriculum.
A booklet aimed at KS3 non-swimmers/doers but could also be used for Primary swim lessons. The resource covers a range of activities including: pool awareness, pool safety, coaching, self and peer assessment, and KS3 assessment matrices, as well as brain break activities.
This is a set of sheets (the set I used, I laminated) that you can use to record the completion of a staged set of swimming activities. These are based upon the Scout Staged Swimming Badges but our PE teacher also decided they were useful as he felt they formed a nice progression that was suitable for our Special Needs students. The sheets have the room to write on a students name and then space to tick off each activity as they complete it. (You'll need a permanent marker to write on a laminated sheet.)
