This is the first part of a series of activities to support to support mentoring of students in my year group. It guides students through reflection on current progress / behaviour and target setting. Students can then reflect on progress against targets in coming weeks. Instructions on how to use are in the notes section below each slide.

As part of my teaching, I try to have one 1 to 1 meeting a year with students, or following major tests. Students and I discuss the targets and what they have done well, as well as what they need to do to 'move to the next level’ This is very good for parents evening and spotting patters, as well as getting students to reflect on their own learning. I have uploaded the .docx file so you can make changes to any of the questions that you wish.

I use this on a fortnightly/three week basis where the students fill in the worksheet at the beginning of the lesson having read and understood my comments and targets for them.
