War Poetry

3 Resources
A collection of poetry resources. Includes a detailed context slides as well as a variety of discussion and writing tasks for each poem. There is a progression from the propaganda poems and natationalistic optimism at the start of the war to the realism of Owen’s poetry at the end. There is an essay task that focuses on Owen’s Mental Cases and Disabled. All slides are clearly designed with a common theme - I believe in attractive, clear layouts without overcrowding slides.
