This Graphic provides an overview of the key ideological issues for the film Winter’s Bone. There are other possibilities for the A-Level Film Studies Exam (such as gender or class) but this graphic provides possibly the best understanding of the more subtle political ideologies within the narrative and their contexts than the more ‘identity’ based approach to ideology.
This graphic places the film within its concurrent social and political contexts, and these bear upon how the film will be** ‘de-coded’** (vis. Stuart Hall’s theory) by viewers, depending upon the background knowledge they bring to their viewing experience. Therefore, this resource provides possibilities for** spectatorship issues** as well as ideology.

Winter Art Project Moonlight Silhouettes
1.This book has 60 pages with templates with silhouettes and blank templates with background markings.
2.Let children use their creativity to experiment as much as they want.
3.You will be surprised to see their new ideas as they use different materials and styles to come up with their style of unique art work.
4.You may give a grey print out to the children so that they can color/paint the objects in black while saving on ink.
5.You may also give them black paper to let them make their own objects and cut and paste them.
6.Paper bits sticking etc. can also be done by smaller kids as a craft activity.

This is my version of a popular game - Dobble.
Dobble is a simple pattern recognition game in which players try to find an image shown on two cards.
Each card in Dobble features eight different symbols, with the symbols varying in size from one card to the next. Any two cards have exactly one symbol in common. For the basic Spot it! game, reveal one card, then another. Whoever spots the symbol in common on both cards claims the first card, then another card is revealed for players to search, and so on. Whoever has collected the most cards when the 55-card deck runs out wins!

A 25 minute Tutor Time session all about keeping well through the winter months. The aim of this session is to help enable Form Tutors to improve attendance by giving students practical advice on how to avoid colds and other bugs during the winter season. The session contains three challenge learning outcomes, slides of easy to digest information, a clip task with differentiated questions, a quiz and final reflection task. The session is editable and been created to be perfect to just pick up and use. The slides in the previews are just a sample and not the whole session.
