"HALFWAY TO HEAVEN" - A 9/11 POEM
Hank Fellows, a New York City songwriter, wrote this song shortly after 9/11/01. It has been performed at hundreds of 9-11 ceremonies across America. The lyrics of this song also have been studied and taught as contemporary poetry reflecting on America's darkest day. On Sept. 10, 2006, Hank received a Citation from the New York City Council for his "continued generosity and devotion to the remembrance of September 11th." (See attached Citation).
