A poster to help students discuss and identify their problems and how to deal with them

This resource can be used by parents or teaching staff.
Some children with anxiety/SEND have difficulty identifying their emotions and knowing how to respond to them.
This resources can be used initially to teach students how we may feel when we experience problems and what we can do to solve the problem. They can then go on to have the resource as a prompt card to develop independence and problem-solving. It helps to reduce anxiety as pupils can assess how big their problem is using the chart.

The resource is also colour coordinated to support identification of how big the problem is and uses familiar emoji’s to support recognition of facial expressions.
