This is an updated version of one of our original packs. We've more than doubled the size of the pack to 72 pages. We've more than doubled the value by producing 12 sets of Task Cards to enable children to compute addition and subtraction. <br />

Students are asked to spot the rule and to fill in the missing numbers of the patterns. There is also the opportunity to identify the numbers that are incorrect within the input output table.<br />

These task cards will save you time as you simply print and go.<br />

If you wish, you can laminate the individually numbered cards and reuse them. We have included recording sheets so that your students can work through them and a set of blank cards for both types of sets in case any go missing!!! <br />

Want them for journals? Well just simply print and go. Glue them into journals for your students to complete. We have found these extremely useful in small group activities, whole class activities and independent maths centres. The children enjoy the independence of picking up a card and finding the answers. These cards have enabled my class to apply their understanding of addition and subtraction. <br />

There are 4 sets of questions (Number, Algebra, Shape, Data) which are mainly A and A* (with some lower grade questions from topics which students struggle with, e.g. percentages, constructions). PLEASE REVIEW / COMMENT. Students work in pairs or small groups to answer the questions. When they finish a question they get it marked and if it is correct they are given cash to the value of the question. There are bank notes which you can put your school name and pictures of your teachers on. The team with the most money at the end could be given a prize.
