Poster which covers types of angles, angles on a line, in triangles and in quadrilaterals. Get pupils to work in pairs or threes, they should take it in turns to come and look at the poster, they have to remember what they can and re-create the poster on a sheet of A4 or in their books. Give them around ten turns to come up. Poster they have created can then be used for reference and discussion throughout the lesson. Pupils love this and I find it a great way to get them to teach themselves about a topic. A good starter for a lesson on angles in shapes with n-sides.
