This Excel tracker turns raw marks into fine grades (1– to 9+) for AQA GCSE English Language (8700) using the 2025 grade boundaries. It covers Paper 1 (80), Paper 2 (80) and the combined total (160), with optional 40-mark section splits (Reading and Writing for each paper) so you can see where marks were gained. You just type in the marks and the fine grade appears. Clear colour coding makes results easy to read, and the tables can be copied straight into your department docs. It’s fully editable, uses standard Excel formulas (no macros), and is designed to save time on mocks, targets and feedback.
