Pupils’ love being creative with this hands-on project. Students are tasked with designing, marking out and manucfacturing a bird box out of a sheet material. Also Included are differentiated resources and student/teacher examples.
In this series of lesson, students are introduced to the benefits of a bird house (contextual challenge), sketching techniques (rough, isometric, orphographic), joining methods and planning their making.
The aims of the project are:
