Christmas Traditions Chronology
This activity involves groups working collaboratively to present how Christmas was celebrated in: The Middle Ages, Elizabethan times, Restoration period, Regency Britain and in the Victorian times. Please note there are two Victorian groups. The aim is to develop understanding of chronology. Groups can work creatively in the way they present their information to the rest of their class: presentation, posters, drama, video, Powerpoint etc. This is a great opportunity to use children's enthusiasm for Christmas to create a meaningful learning opportunity. Instructions included.
