Converting Improper and mixed fractions lesson

I used this in a 1 hour year 7 class (top set)\nto introduce converting fractions between mixed and top heavy (improper). \n\nThe students are to come up to the board and take an active part (in sharing the chocolate bars and making the whole shapes (circles, squares etc).\n\nYou can choose areas to take out or use as a class or individually. Also included an exit pass plenary.\n\nHope this helps.
