Planning and resources created a while ago. All the resources are interlinked with the planning. I suggest you download it, print and sort according to the planning. The activities get the children doing - creating their own binary tree -teacher's scaffolding and requires laminating etc etc etc. Hope they enjoy it as I know my Year 2s did.

We collected data on the children's birthdays in the class then used these questions to explore the data further. Can be personalised for the data you collect, may be more appropriate to use other months etc depending on your class month spread. Bit basic but does the job! Hope it&'s useful :-)

This is a series of lessons on Data Handling. There is a presentation on all areas of data handling as required by the curriculum. For lessons, I would include an exercise in the lesson to follow their learning, and I would suggest doing mainly paired or group work with Data Handling as I found this most effective.
