Feel free to differentiate the sheet as appropriate! My lower attainers wouldn't have been able to read the questions independently so I sat with them on the carpet to try and answer them. Helps children to think of places such as the park, which may seem like a safe environment - encouraging critical thinking. Enjoy!
Writing frame for children to write in their own success criteria for writing their poetry (common things they add are to use alliteration, simile, metaphor etc). Easily adaptable for differentiation, lower ability can add in to remember capital letters for example.

A Full scheme of work covering writing objectives using various of Roald Dahl's works (including Matilda and The BFG). It is easy to differentiate for KS 2 (7-11 year olds) and KS3 (11-14 year olds)and contains many worksheets for activities including vocabulary and punctuation use as well as descriptive and creative writing techniques.

This scheme takes the group step by step through the stages of how to write a story. It is adapted from the government initiative 'Improving Childrens Writing' getting children from level 3 to level 4. I have changed it a little, so that it is also suitable for level 2 and 3 as well. Some resources you will have to get from the government published folder 'improving childrens writing'.
To say THANK YOU to all my TES friends and followers I've created a bunch of $2.00 packets! This one centers on the reading skill of sequencing. This 20+ page packet contains all sorts of graphic organizers aimed at helping your primary students master sequencing the events in a story! I hope you enjoy these graphic organizers as much as my students do. Sequencing is an important skill so these are specifically designed to help ensure mastery of that concept.
