GCSE History Anglo-Saxon and Norman England: Anglo-Saxon Society Revision Sheet/Mat

Who is it for? GCSE students studying Anglo-Saxon and Norman England

What’s included? 1 structured sheet for students to fill in to encourage revision of Anglo-Saxon society (including monarchy, the earls, the House of Godwin and key words relating to Anglo-Saxon society). This sheet was created to support the Edexcel History 9-1 specification but will also suit other exam boards that study similar topics.

Why is it useful? This sheet helps students structure their revision by breaking down the topic into key features. Sheets are structured with the questions they need to answer on the exam in mind. Example exam questions are included so students can plan/complete this essential exam practice. Students are required to write definitions for key words in order to develop their knowledge and language of the time period.

How do I use this resource? I print these sheets out on A3 paper and use this resource for homework throughout the GCSE course and for revision.
