In this lesson students essentially judge how cool Henry VIII was. Through exploring the Field of the Cloth of Gold and a range of other statements students will make a judgement based on the "Cool-o-meter" This lesson was taught as an 80 minute lesson to Y8 but could easily be adapted to suit shorter lessons. There a range of activities here and my students found the lesson enjoyable! Students will need the resources attached and some colours to shade in statements. Enjoy! All images acquired through a search engine filtered to "labelled for re-use". Comments are appreciated.
