Holiday Activities (Why Don't You?)

A powerpoint presentation looking at the sort of activities children can do during the summer holidays instead of watching the television or playing on computer games. Links with PSE and K&U looking at things their parents did as children as well as giving the children opportunity to discuss things that happen at home and in their community. I played the theme tune to the children's programme 'Why Don&'t You?&'; before looking at this powerpoint and challenged the children to make their own holiday plan mind map.
