## KS3 Maths Coordinate in the 1st quarter Activity

A maths activity website. Solve the calculation and convert the answer to a co-ordinate - 23 becomes (2,3) - then find the point on a grid. Points are joined in sequence to form a picture - in effect, this is a picture you can draw without your pencil leaving the paper! On completion of the picture a certificate is awarded along with a key which will help to unlock a free downloadable book!

#### Cash for questions revision activity

There are 4 sets of questions (Number, Algebra, Shape, Data) which are mainly A and A* (with some lower grade questions from topics which students struggle with, e.g. percentages, constructions). PLEASE REVIEW / COMMENT. Students work in pairs or small groups to answer the questions. When they finish a question they get it marked and if it is correct they are given cash to the value of the question.
