Preterit v Imperfect: Matching practice with simultaneous and interrupting actions

Write the correct letter of the conjugation for every sentence.

Part 1: Simultaneous actions (two actions on-going at the same time) / 6 sentences total (all with mientras)

Example:

f. nadábamos / caminaban e. hablaba / jugaba

__ 1. Yo (hablar) por teléfono mientras mi hermano (jugar) un videojuego.

Part 2: An action in progess interrupted / 6 sentences total (all with cuando)

Example:

d. compartías / llegó f. charlaba / llamó

__ 1. Yo (charlar) con mi padre cuando mi amigo me (llamar).

Part 3: Simultaneous actions and actions in progress interrupted (6 sentences total)

Example:

f. vendían / oyeron e. escuchaban / enseñaba

__ 1. Los alumnos (escuchar) mientras la profesora (enseñar).

__ 3. Juan y Roberto (vender) frutas cuando ellos (oír) las noticias.
