Short summary: A 53-page workbook for OCR A (H432) Year 13 titrations: back titrations, MnO₄⁻ and iodine–thiosulfate titrations, pH curves and indicators, with 42 OCR-style questions, a 50-mark exam paper and full mark schemes.

Description:

The longest calculations on OCR A papers are titrations: a back titration followed by a redox titration, or a pH curve you must read to choose an indicator or find a concentration. This workbook takes students through each type one skill at a time, using the same road map for every calculation.

Each skill has four parts:

Learn it: the rule, with the key words highlighted
See it: a fully worked example, shown as step cards and a road map
Check it: what OCR examiners say: common mistakes and examiner tips from OCR examiners’ reports, plus “What OCR adds”, the extra twists OCR puts on each skill
Try it: OCR-style questions with mark allocations that get harder, then a set of “OCR twist” exam-style questions

It finishes with a 50-mark exam paper in OCR’s style and full OCR-style mark schemes, including level-of-response marking for the six-mark questions. Answers are rounded only at the final step, as OCR expects.

Ideal for Year 13 revision, homework, intervention or mock preparation. Written for OCR A H432: 5.1.3 Acids, bases and buffering and 5.2.3 Redox and electrode potentials. Builds on Titrations 1 (AS): https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-13614620

What’s inside (53 pages):

Back titrations
Redox equations and mole ratios
Manganate(VII) titrations
Iodine–thiosulfate titrations
Redox titrations you have never seen
The long one: back titration + redox
pH titration curves
Choosing an indicator
Using a pH curve: finding a concentration
Six-mark questions

Plus: skills tracker, 50-mark exam paper, answers and mark schemes.
