I have personally created a full replica MOCK Exam suitable for AQA Specification, including full mark scheme. Exam out of 80 marks and contains 2015 scenario involving Ben the Gymnast and associated Section B questions, suitable for exam preparation in 2015 and 2016!
Content covers a large range of topics from the current specification and provides an excellent opportunity to stretch and challenge your cohort.
Perfect for a structured exam, a lesson resource or a homework task.
Run your very own game of ‘Deal or No Deal’ with this complete set of resources. Included are: a IWB (notebook) file that includes the main game board with amounts to swipe away, just like on the TV show, and your very own Banker’s phone call sound effect. Also, there is a random box generator, questions template and a specific circle theorems game board. I have also included some useful notes for teachers, which includes a link to my blog post providing further information on how to run the game. Your students will love this...you just need to get some boxes (ask your Art/DT department)!
Maths Revision for Red Nose Day. *All* monies I recieve from TES website (60% of what you pay) for this resource will be given to Comic Relief. I will keep nothing! What TES choose to do with their 40% is up to them! :-)
You can:
(i) run it as a plenary on screen.
(ii) print the full set of 9 nose's questions on a single sheet of A4 and then photocopy onto a larger (A3) quiz sheet.
Answers included for each option in format consistent with the option (one-to-one & block of nine).
Featured in the TES Newsletter. Adventure game in which students answer probability questions in order to rescue a princess. PLEASE REVIEW / COMMENT. There are 5 sections, each with 2 topics. They have 4 attempts at each topic, if they get all 4 wrong, the game ends and they will have to start again. The 5 sections are: OR and AND questions, complementary events, combined events (inc. 'exactly' questions and 'at least' questions), conditional probability. Go to my profile page and check out my other games.
There are 4 sets of questions (Number, Algebra, Shape, Data) which are mainly A and A* (with some lower grade questions from topics which students struggle with, e.g. percentages, constructions). PLEASE REVIEW / COMMENT. Students work in pairs or small groups to answer the questions. When they finish a question they get it marked and if it is correct they are given cash to the value of the question. There are bank notes which you can put your school name and pictures of your teachers on. The team with the most money at the end could be given a prize.
