Anagram-azing - Anagrams and the NC Word List for Years 3 and 4
An anagram can be a great way of remembering a tricky spelling. They work as mnemonics, by having all the letters of the original word or phrase arranged in a fresh form. For example, astronomers makesno more stars. It all makes learning fun!
Each task card includes a simple explanation of how anagrams work.
Each card features an example of an anagram - a different one on each card.
Each of the cards features an anagram of a word from the Year 3/4 NC Word List. An answer sheet for the children and a sheet of answers for the teacher are included.
If you enjoy this free set of Task Cards why not check out our further two sets. Once you have all three sets then you will have a total of 76 cards - three quarters of all the words on the Word List.
