These are two multiple-choice tests on solving systems of linear equations or two-part test. Students are required to solve the systems of the first part by the substitution method and to solve the systems of the second part by the elimination method. Each part of this test contains 8 problems, the problems in both parts are similar. Students need to know what is a consistent dependent system and what is an inconsistent system. There are included systems with no solution and with infinite many solutions. The eight problem is a word problem.
