Task Cards for Participants in a Faculty Meeting, In-service, Training, or Professional Development
The task cards are the perfect addition for your training, in-services, workshops, professional development activities, or presentations. The task cards foster movement and require your participants actively engage with the materials you present and their peers.

*There are 28 task cards. To use the cards, simply print and cut around each card.

Ideas for using the task cards:

*Enhance your presentation by engaging your participants. When you feel that your participants need to move or get involved, ask each to go to the table and take a card.

*You can also ask them to find a partner and choose one card between the two. As partners, they can complete the task together. Set a timer for 2-3 minutes (based on the length of your presentation and how many times you will use the cards).

*Once the time is up, ask participants to place the cards face down on the table again. Repeat as many times as you need to get your participants up, moving, and participating.

Active engagement is the key to a successful professional development session.
