Study Skills Questionnaire
With these lesson plans you can teach your students how to learn skills that help them become self-regulated learners and consider the aspects of beliefs, skills, motivation and emotions.
Minilessons can be held at any point of the class. You might prefer to start with this before class work or use those last 10 - 15 minutes of the class, when students might be already finishing their work. Although, make sure students have enough time to concentrate and finish their work properly.
Students can take the Study Skills Questionnaire as a pre-test before learning more about self-regulation through minilessons 1 - 5. Students can take the same questionnaire as a post-test. Teachers and students get valuable information of learning self-regulation skills. You can also use the Questionnaire for example as a four-week, six-month or one-year follow-up. The Self-Regulation Questionnaire is a broader tool to find out where students are with self-regulation.
These lessons can be used in any subject and any grade.
