Absolutely perfect for students at home who don't have computer access, thank you so much for this!
A powerpoint including accurate, visual examples, questions and solutions on ruler, straight edge and compass constructions. Worksheets at bottom of presentation for printing (need to be reduced to A5 to match solutions requiring measuring). Includes some challenging 'curiosities&' including how to construct a regular pentagon, plus GSPs showing constructions dynamically.

Very useful. The worked examples clearly show how the topic should be tackled and the exercises are perfect for my students. Thank you.

CIMT can be relied on to provide material on any topic. I often use the ideas from the mental tests in class - these mental tests are provided for each topic and are on that topic - not just mental arithmetic. The additional activities are very helpful - those here include an exploration of repeated reflections and a rather nice exercise to find the errors in a reflection.
A worksheet on constructing ASA and SAS triangles.
The answers are actual size, so can be printed on transparencies and used by pupils for self marking.

Great worksheet
This sheet explores which triangles are possible or impossible to construct when given three side lengths. Students will practise using compasses and ruler to construct side-side-side triangles and also think about generalising so that the problem can be solved without drawing. This worksheet is based on a past SAT question.

Good resource to make students think around what lengths make a triangle. First part might be best done as a group activity to get it done faster and to discuss answers. Perhaps give out the bottom part of the sheet to groups who have reached logical conclusion.
