Hi, looks great! Is there any chance you could send a mark sheet to the "probability worksheet" please? Thank you.

Practice questions, homeworks and assessments
This lesson is intended as an introduction to Tree diagrams. In it, pupils see how Tree diagrams can be used to show different combinations of events, and can therefore be used to calculate probabilities. There are no probabilities on the diagrams at this point, this idea can be introduced at a later date. The worksheet has a variety of questions, with answers included. If you liked this resource then please check out my other stuff on TES - all free!

This is a poor joke whose punchline that is discovered by solving the probability problems listed. One has a tree diagram drawn and the others could use a tree diagram but ultimately they can be done without.

Two worksheets, testing basic probability with dice, coloured balls and letters. The second worksheet is more difficult and introduces sampling with and without replacement.
Full solutions included.
Edit: May 2023 fixed question numbering
Edit: July 2024 added a Powerpoint for finding the probability with two events, explaining when to add and when to multiply the two probabilitiesReviews

Some questions to delve a little deeper into the understanding of probability and tree diagrams. The first two are fairly standard (I)GCSE fare but subsequent questions become more complex with questions 5 and 6 requiring the solution of quadratic equations if an algebraic approach is used. Suitable for KS4 students who are ready for something a little more challenging than the standard GCSE style question. Answers included.
