Berlin Wall

Berlin Wall

I put together this Ppt about the building and fall of the Berlin Wall as an end of term Yr9 mini-project. I spent the whole hour talking about it to my 4 top/middle groups using the ppt and linked video clips and they loved it. So many questions were asked and it really had them captivated. I also used an animated clip about the Wall from dwtv called 'walled in' (available in English and German &'Eingemauert). Pupils thought it was great as it really brings the whole thing to life. Thought i&';d share.

I've also uploaded a copy of the first page of the genuine list, which I gave to students to hold. No explanation, just asked them to think about the power of what was in their hands and gave them time to reflect.
