Zoo Project - German

Zoo Project - German

This is a workbook and set of resources about animals in a Zoo. It has cut and stick stuff, some flashcards and maps of zoos. It goes through basic descriptions to more advanced, and touches on issues of conservation, zoo planning and environment a little bit. I’ve included the rough set of lesson plans I did with it - apologies that they are in French, as I did the French version of this first and it’s basically the same thing!

Various MFL policy documents

Various MFL policy documents

Here are a selection of policy documents I’ve found when researching for my TtT work. Some from ELL forum and some from NACELL I believe! Top one if MFL policy guidance, the second a MFL policy template then the rest are 5 examples of policy documents.

Wie siehst du aus? Wie sieht das Monster aus?

Wie siehst du aus? Wie sieht das Monster aus?

1st sheet shows adj endings for the parts of the face. Pupils describe faces using sheet and other adjectives (e.g. colours). 'Monsters' NBK file has richtig/falsch ex (the 'falsch' answers will disappear when dragged to their box) and recaps 'hat' and 'ist'. Then gap-fill - this works well with mini-wbs. Then pupils describe monsters e.g. as oral plenary or PW, or tie-in to monster worksheet. The 'wie sieht das Monster aus' sheet also offers a reading exercise (pupils draw the monster described) and a creative drawing/writing exercise.
