#### Statistics: Histograms 2

This is a whole lesson on Histograms (lesson two!) PowerPoint. This is building on lesson one and specifically looking at working backwards to find the frequency and how to find a total sample size when given a key. This is more A-Level standards, but also applicable for higher ability A/A* students at GCSE. It comes with a starter, key questions, worksheets that I like to use as well as the answers already done in the PPT. Updated, as there was a mistake. NOTE: please feel free to browse my shop for more excellent free and premium resources and as always please rate and feedback, thanks.

#### Statistics: Histograms 1

This is a whole lesson introducing the topic of histograms. This is suitable for GCSE, IGCSE and S1 Statistics! This is a lesson that I got observed as outstanding. I have a follow up lesson building upon this one !!This is arguable my favourite PowerPoint ? It starts off looking at issues with bar charts as a quick starter and then goes into linking it to histograms and the reasons why we draw histograms. This part of the PPT is very clear and helps pupils not only know how to draw./ calculate them, which comes later, but why!!!It follows on with some excellent hinge questions, a quick question to check understanding and a very open worksheet, that could have several correct answers and raises some good questions!!NOTE: Please feel free to visit my shop for many more excellent free and premium resources and please rate and feedback, thanks.

#### OCR S1 on a page

#### Financial Modelling and Probability Distributions

Quick Motivation for the utilitarians who will never be converted to the joys of maths for its own sake. Look at some time series graphs observe their distributions. Useful to know if you want to earn the big bucks. Shame.
