Spanish Yr 8 and 9- Spare time activities - Facebook worksheet

Spanish Yr 8 and 9- Spare time activities - Facebook worksheet

Here is a worksheet of the 21st Century! I was trying somehow to make worksheets more fun and enjoyable and thought that if there is something our students love is social networks, so I decided to create this based on what a facebook timeline and profile looks like. This resource has two pages. The first page has two exercises (you can more or less see them in the picture). There are two different profiles, a boy and a girl, as I though it would be nice for students to choose which one they would like to complete. The second page is based on sending private messages. Ángela texts Tomás asking him for help to complete a quiz. Later on, Tomás asks Ángela for help completing a wordsearch. Any questions or requests you can follow me or contact me on @mflresources on Instagram! :)

Year 7 Spanish revision cards -

Year 7 Spanish revision cards -

Start the year getting your class to quickly revise what they learnt in year 7!  Here is a game which can be done as a whole class task where each student is given a card or two and an answer sheet), once they have answered the question/s in the card/s given, they must pass the card on to the person next to them- this way, all the cards will have to go around to each student so everyone gets to answer each card.  This is a set of 39 cards! This would work better with small classes - it can be difficult to manage with larger groups. Alternatively, if more sets of cards are printed out, you can get students in groups and each group would be a set and an answer sheet so all members would collaboratively work out the answers to the questions in all the cards.  Great fun and revision out of the way! Whether it's end of year 7 revision or start of the academic year in year 8. If you want your class to revise in more depth, you can support this game with a worksheet with further revision.

Spanish Communicative Partner Activity: Personal Shopper!

Spanish Communicative Partner Activity: Personal Shopper!

Spanish Partner Communicative Activities: Students play a client looking for the perfect holiday gift and a personal shopper who helps them find it! What teachers are saying about this lesson: "Kids enjoyed the personal shopper activity and got some laughs in too." The vocabulary used in the following interviews is common vocabulary found in most Spanish textbooks along with supplementary vocabulary to help your students express themselves more fully. Many cognates are written into the dialogues, which will help expose your students to some new words. The interviews are comprehensible and fun! Included in this packet you will find partner interviews in which the client is looking for a gift for his/her mother, father, boyfriend or girlfriend. Each interview contains questions that the personal shopper will ask his/her client in order to help choose the "perfect gift" for their loved one. Some of the questions are pretty silly, but that just adds to the fun! The interviewer keeps track of the answers given and then chooses from a list provided using his/her best judgment and gives a gift suggestion to the client. The client has a form to fill out at the end of the interview, thus ensuring that both students are active in the interview process! Enjoy! ♥ La Profesora Frida
