The Complete Romeo and Juliet - All acts and all scenes (16 individual lessons)

Shakespeare’s timeless text is presented here through a series of beautifully illustrated slides, each with varying degrees of challenge. I have taught this text for the last seventeen years and can honestly say that these resources have been tried, tested and refined many times. I have used these particular power point lessons to lead my teaching in class, as homework assignments and even as tools of revision. All have worked well for the students. There are 16 individual lessons in this bundle covering all scenes and acts. Each presentation includes, a starter activity, a previous learning slide, a key words’ slide, summary and analysis questions, an academic writing task, an extension task and a homework. Everything is done for you. Enjoy! This is a complete resource.

Includes space for students to explain the keywords and suggested extension activities. Can take 10 minutes or an hour, depending on which activities the students complete. Ideal for the start of a lesson, a quick filler, a homework, part of a cover lesson or as a plenary on the board with a whiteboard pen. The idea behind these is to get students to become more literate and think independently about the words that could be used to describe the topic being taught.
