This file is a fantastic tool to use with your current Year 6 to see how they are doing in relation to what is expected of them. If you use the 2017 KS2 tests (these can be downloaded from https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/national-curriculum-assessments-practice-materials), you will be able to highlight where your children need extra support either as a whole group or individually. We used our 2016 version last year to target intervention and support. This lead to a massive improvement from the previous year's results. Maths - Multiplication - columnar method, short multiplication (Year 5)

This pack includes a 5-day unit of work in which the learning is the multiplication of 3 digit numbers by a one digit number. Over the course of the 5 days, the journey of the learning progresses for all children due to the provision of the less able children up to the more able children (through various investigations). The pack is all set up and complete to simply print off and teach with. Attached are suggested WALTs ('We are learning to's'), however you school may have a different policy in place for your learning WALTs/learning objectives. The 'P' in P skills stands for 'pre'; this is simply a less challenging selection of questions in which less able children can access the learning, but still be challenged in their own way. Each lesson is separated with a different number at the beginning of the file. The recommended way to use these resources are as follows: - work way through the slips in the order of 'skill', 'application', 'reasoning' and 'greater depth'. - the following day, dependant on the children's attainment the day before the children can start further in the stage because that is the level of challenge they require. This Powerpoint provides a whole unit of work outline for printing. Children will experience designing a printing template based on plants and flowers and then create different types of printing boards. they will then evaluate their learning to consider the positives and negatives of the different types of printing that they have used. Year 3 and 4 Spellings

This Excel file allows you to focus on either the Year 3/4 spelling words, words ending in ...tion, words ending in ...sion or words ending in ...cian or ...ssion. The file will randomly select 10 words from a bank of over 200 words and create both a 'Look, say, cover, write, check' sheet and a 'word list' sheet of these words. A refresh button allows you to create as many sheets as you would like meaning that the options are endless. 2D Resources Team would like to hear how we could adapt our resources to make them even better. Create your own times tables worksheet using this Excel file. The file allows you to choose which times tables to test the children with - you can choose one, two, three or four different times tables to test them with (this is currently pre-populated but you can change this easily). All you then need to do is highlight the cells with the questions in and print them out. A refresh button allows you to quickly and easily create a new sheet meaning that you will have unlimited options with this fantastic resource. Daily Times Tables Activity

This is a great resource to test children's times tables knowledge. Choose between the 6 x 6, 8 x 8, 10 x 0 and 12 x 12 grids to test the children's knowledge of randomly selected tables up to 12 x 12. The files come with printable grids (just highlight the cells and print) and an answer tab. When you reopen the file, a new grid appears meaning that you have unlimited options for times tables practice. Word List Creator

This is a great resource to use as a spelling/reading intervention for children who need to build up a sight vocabulary of key words. The resource allows you to use 5 key words at a time. These words are then randomly selected to create a list for the children to read. If you print off the blank grid as well, the children can write the words that an adult reads to them from the grid. This resource comes with a refresh button (macros need to be enabled) that allows the user to change the grid if too many of one of the words are in close proximity to each other.
