Tenth lesson in a series of lessons introducing Islam. This lesson was planned for a HA group to encourage them to think of the impact of war and the correlation between the refugee crisis and a rise in Islamophobia. (Video link to educating greater Manchester - WARNING you need to skip past the drawings on the van!)

Sixth lesson in a series of lesson introducing Islam. We don’t teach Islam at GCSE so this lesson has an emphasis on the Abraham. I feel it is important for students to learn this story in order to understand Christianity and Judaism fully. Adapted from a great lesson on TES.

We use these with our exam classes in the lead up to their final exams! We recommend printing them on nice card, certificate paper or laminating them - just doing something to make them a little bit special! We also put them in an envelope and present them to the students as part of one of our lessons! Although time is golden in year 11, making a bit of fuss and getting the students motivated pays off in the long run! Although the format took only a minute or two to make they are time consuming to put together but it is well worth the effort! Feedback is always appreciated.
