I use this test in the Summer term, between AS and A2. I have written it based on the Educas/WJEC spec but I think it could be used across all boards, as it focuses on beliefs and practices. It is a 30 question test, 1 and 2 mark answers, equalling 45 marks. I use this in a one hour lesson, but you could also add some A01 or A02 exam style questions and make it longer.

Lesson for year 10 about the Muslim belief in Angels This compares Muslim beliefs and Christian beliefs, discusses different Qur'an passages and explains the nature of angels, with a focus on Raqib and Atid. It also looks at what can be learnt about angels from the Night Journey (Al Miraj). At the end of the lesson there is a 5 mark and a 12 mark exam style question with marking criteria.

A lesson that looks at Humanist commitments and Christian commandments and compares them. I use it to discuss how people should behave and whether you can be "good" without a god.

A sheet i used for GCSE Buddhism - it includes many of the key Buddhist concepts, beliefs, key words and easy to remember quotes. Students need to explain the concept/belief/quote and say which topic they can use it in.
