GCSE Macbeth: 15 lessons on Act 1 - 3

(0)
GCSE Macbeth unit – 15 complete lessons to follow the play up to Act 4 A scheme of work on Macbeth with over 15 challenging lessons. These are lesson packets in the style of ‘Teach like a Champion’. Most lessons have a recall quiz at the start which interleaves the learning throughout the unit. The lessons all have Exit Tickets too. There is a mix of discussion, reading, explaining, modelling, paired work, videos, images, etc. These are great to print off and get going. They help students relax as they can see the lesson laid out in front of them. There is a wealth of research on this method and best of all it’s not death by powerpoint! This resource would be great for cover lessons too as well as homework/revision, however they are meant to used in class with a teacher leading the way.

'A Christmas Carol' scheme of work (GCSE)

(1)
A scheme of work for Dickens ‘A Christmas Carol’ for GCSE or equivalent level students. These are lesson packets in the style of ‘Teach like a Champion’. Mix up the work with paired, group and individual work. All the stuff you need is on the sheets, just time the students and circulate so you can pick up any misconceptions. Get students to write these in pencil so they can correct mistakes as they go. These can also be used as revision. These are what I use and I’ve had excellent results. Give yourself and the students a break from powerpoints. Keep up the great work.

Eduqas Crime Drama scheme GCSE

This is the crime drama scheme I use and have had excellent results. These are lesson packets in the style of ‘Teach like a Champion’. They are good to go. Time the tasks for the students and circulate. These are great for a whole bunch of reasons e.g. you can see if the students are looking at the right page, you can see quickly if they have completed the tasks, they can use pencils and correct their answers, if students aren’t in put this in their folder and you’ll see when they are complete easily. Adapt and change elements if necessary.
