Powerpoint for Shakespeare Day, focuses on who Shakespeare was then introduces a sonnet for KS2-5 with a reading and discussion oppurtunites for each. Depending on the nature of the group you may use others with different year groups. Students can then have a go at writing their own sonnet.

National Pet Day is on the 11th April this Powerpoint has lots of discussion about why we love our pets and the benefits of having pets. Then involves designing a dream pet. Would work for any time to look at pets. Suitable for KS2 &3 but could easily be adapted for KS1.
