Students will investigate the main causes of homelessness in the UK, hear the issues from people in their own words and discover some unusual solutions to the issue. They will also explore why the numbers of homeless people are increasing in recent years, the hurdles people face to in trying find accommodation and how many find themselves homeless to begin with. Students will complete source analysis tasks, literacy and debate tasks, creative tasks, clip tasks and much more. Created for KS4 but nothing unsuitable for KS3. UPDATED : A 25 minute Tutor Time session all about what a No Deal Brexit is and what this would mean for the country. The session focuses on how a No Deal Brexit is already being prepared for, the possible consequences of this and what it would mean legally. The PowerPoint also examines why some people are for and some against a No Deal Brexit, before inviting the students to form their own conclusions through a class debate.
