The activity involves finding the areas of rectangles and triangles. Windows and doors need to be subtracted to find the areas of the front walls of the houses. There are 4 spooky houses of increasing difficulty. The students then need to calculate the cost of buying the black paint to paint the house fronts. There are 6 worksheets. All answers are included.
