I used this with many lower ability classes as a settling activity. Pupils draw a 3 x 3 grid and enter the numbers given on slide 2. When their numbers appear (they need to answer the question), they circle their answers. They can play for a line and a full house. The majority of my pupils found it engaging.

I created these bingo games to engage year 7 pupils with converting between units of length. I have also used these with success with my lower ability KS4 classes as a bingo game and as a quiz.

Kagan Rally Coach - Pupil A and Pupil B take it in turns to answer the questions. Pupil B listens and praises Pupil A if they are correct or coaches as necessary. They then swap. I have also used this to peer assess after completing the work.

I used this resource with my year 10 set 2. It includes 10 starter questions using a calculator to work out the trig ratio and angles. The lessons introduce the Sine, Cosine and Tangent ratio one at a time with examples and 6 questions and answers for each. The final 6 questions are mixed with answers. It moves on to calculating the missing angles and includes some worded problems also.

WJEC Maths GCSE Foundation and Intermediate Starter Questions

I created the two resources for my year 10 and year 11 foundation Maths classes to help revise the topics for their Maths GCSE. There is one new style with separate answers and one old style with answers. All created in power point. The questions are hyperlinked from the menu. The 2nd power point is identical with the answers.

I created these as a revision resource for my year 8/9 set 1 classes. I revisit the topics through the starters at the beginning of each lesson. I change the questions after a few weeks and then mix them up and reintroduce them again at a later date to ensure they aren't forgotten.
